Venetian Wedding

Zakynthos, throughout the year, offers an array of notable cultural events. During the long period of the Carnival the happenings are many with most notable the one of the «Venetian Wedding» on the last Carnival Saturday. The whole island and its many guests participate in the procession which starts at Rouga Square and end at St. Mark’s Square with costumes & trimmings dating back to the 16th century.
