Presentation of the Municipality of Laganas in Danish language

The Municipality of Laganas was presented through the Danish edition of the “Greece 09” magazine during the travel trade fair Ferie 2009. The high response of Danes who visited the fair resulted to the high demand of the publication featuring the Municipality of Laganas. The magazine was the only Danish language periodical distributed from the stand of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

As stated by many Danish tour operators that specialize in outgoing tourism to Greece, the percentage of Danish visitors would not be reduced in contrast with the global crisis of the tourism market. However, efforts must be made to maintain and increase the percentage.

According to the tour operators in Denmark, official data showed that some 400,000 tourists this year would visit various Greek destinations.
